Styleicona App Launch

Addicted to searching #ootd for daily fashion inspiration? But sick of trawling through annoyingly irrelevant photos of someones Spongebob socks (no offence). Tired of never knowing if your likes are genuine after putting a million hashtags and getting a like from a random I.T. company? Always seeing outfits you love but then finding the item is out of stock at your local store? Or just simply wanting to connect with genuine people who have just as much passion for fashion as you do? FEAR NOT! Styleicona is here to answer your style prayers! 

Everyday is a fashion show and The World Styleicona is your runway.

Styleicona is a brand new unique app creating an innovative way to share your style and fashion finds with the world, straight from your smart phone or tablet. Connect with your friends by choosing to add the contacts from your phone or engage with the fabulous stylish community of Styleicona.

This interactive app allows you to rate, receive and give feedback to your fellow Styleiconas' daily outfit posts and set new trends with your iconic style. However, what I find the app most useful for is if I'm shopping or I'm unsure about an outfit and my boyfriend's only opinion is 'yeah nice'. I can quickly upload a photo and receive genuine advice from my Stylicona icons! 

I know it's what I've definitely been waiting for. An app that is clear and easy to use, fashionable and style orientated. Not only giving me access to a million stylists in my back pocket (although I don't know anyone who keeps their phone in their back pocket) but also a chance of becoming a trendsetter and world style icon!

Fashion is what you buy, Style is how highly you're rated on Styleicona.

Download the app from the app store. <-- using this link!

Once opened you can swipe across to see more information on the app.

Press Sign Up.

This page will come up, type in your information and press Next.

Then pick a unique username (mine is the same as my blog lifexemporium) and press Done.

This page will appear enter your phone number to verify you are not a crazy robot trying to steal style from outer space. You will receive a code by text, enter that code and press Done.You will then be asked if you would like to import your contacts so that you can connect with your friends through the app.

And then you are done! Click Take a Photo and upload your iconic style photos for the Styleicona community to see! Have you noticed someone's style you like? Search for their username and add them as a friend, mine is @lifexemporium :)

Sharing is caring!

Another feature of this app is Styletalk; Styleicona's private messaging service. Once I've connected with my friends, I upload my photo and choose who I wish to share it with. They then receive my fashion snap in their Styleicona inbox. So you can have personalised and honest feedback in private from the people's opinions you value the most.

You can use Styletalk when uploading a photo or after by click the 'Share now' button. 

You can choose to share your photo with all of your fashionista friends, search for a Styleicona's username or use the list of your friends below.

Then all you have to do is get ready to receive your Styletalk private fashion feedback within seconds!

 Become a Style Icon With Styleicona

Personally, what I think this app is so great for is that being a lifestyle blogger, it is an app that I can use to fully dedicate my style section to. Having the ability to promote my blog and display my outfits of the day. 

Sometimes as a new blogger it is hard to receive feedback particularly on a style post because there are so many fabulous fashion bloggers out there already. Yet, with this app I can not only access fashion and style inspiration 24/7, but I can also connect with my current friends and fellow bloggers gaining feedback from them. Meanwhile I'm building connections with new fashion lovers and bloggers. Not to mention finding products in my local area to buy my favourite outfits there and then!
